Terms, Conditions & Policies
Please read these carefully before booking and retain for your reference.
When you purchase or book any service or product from us, you are signifying your agreement to the terms, conditions and policies.
BOOKING AND FEES: All places in a Vocalisars class must be reserved and paid for in advance Fees are needed to be paid in full prior to the start of the term. To secure a place, payment must be made within 7 days of registration. No child will be allowed to participate in a class unless fees have been paid.
REFUNDS: We are not able to offer refunds once payment is made. We are unable to issue refunds if a participant changes their mind or does not come for any reason. Vocalisars cannot be held responsible for changes in the participant’s personal circumstances which might prevent attendance. However, exceptions may be made under exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Vocalisars.
We reserve the right to cancel a class that has insufficient participants and not to compensate for any classes cancelled due to incidents beyond our control (ie, extreme weather conditions, road blockages etc). Should this occur, we will endeavour to hold a ‘make up’ class If circumstances allow.
TRIAL LESSON: A single trial lesson can be requested in a class of your choosing, providing there is availability.
Trial lessons must be booked in advance through the Vocalisars office. There is a £5 trial fee, however, if you sign up for the remainder of the term, this will be deducted off your total terms fees.
Contact information must be given for a trial lesson.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE: Parents are responsible for making sure their child arrives to the teacher and sign in, and making sure they are collected promptly at the end of a class. We are not held responsible for children waiting at the main entrance of our venues.
OBSERVERS: Participant’s family members or friends are restricted from watching the weekly classes in order to avoid disruption and maintain professionalism. We kindly request that parents wait in the downstairs entrance area of the venue during drop off and pick up times. We endeavour to invite parents to watch their children once a year in a class or a performance.
CONDUCT: No phones, food or chewing gum are allowed in a session. Bottled water is permitted and recommended.
LOST PROPERTY: Members should refrain from bringing any valuables to the classes. No items should be left at the venue and any that are left are done so at the owner's risk. Vocalisars will not be held responsible for any lost property.
EXCLUSION: We believe our participants should be allowed to learn and develop in an atmosphere of friendship and encouragement. Therefore, we expect all of our members to contribute to the wellbeing of the group and its projects by cooperative and considerable behaviour at all times. Vocalisars reserves the right to dismiss a members' involvement in the group if their behaviour is deemed unacceptable. In this circumstance, a refund will not be possible.
HEALTH AND INJURIES: It is your responsibility to inform us, in writing, of any existing or previous medical conditions or injuries suffered. We cannot be held responsible for errors or omission of information.
Vocalisars does not accept liability for personal injury to any member attending our classes.
PHOTOGAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY: Photos/videos may be taken during classes to be used for areas on our website or for future advertisements. Should you prefer that your child does not appear in these, please inform Vocalisars in writing.
TEACHER OR CLASS CHANGES: We understand the importance of consistency of the instructor and day, however, Vocalisars reserve the right to make changes to the staff and the timetable if deemed necessary. All our staff are DBS checked.
